Our medicine service is supported in ultrasound by the expertise of Karon Hoffman, and the facilities in which we have invested. All specialists use our Phillips HDI 5000 machine, with digital imagery, colour flow and continuous wave Doppler, and a wide range of probes to optimise imagery. We use ultrasound not only to further evaluate the causes of heart disease or abdominal disorders, but also to evaluate for liver shunts, obtain keyhole biopsies, image lung masses or evaluate musculoskeletal disease.
Ultrasounds are available Monday-Friday by appointment only at Homebush.
